AI: Good?

There is a lot of talk of AI recently, and I see many people have a strong distaste for it. But is AI good or bad? Will it take over society?

I have been in technology for a long time, and it is always changing, but I find the story is always the same. "This new technology will replace the old, people will lose their jobs, and there is absolutely no need for the old technology." The problem is that I find that it usually creates jobs in unexpected ways and increases salaries. For example, I think most of us would agree that the Internet was a good thing, as are computers and internet banking. But many people hated these things when they were first introduced. However, things are still okay.

I think AI has many advantages socially and I don't think it's going to take over the world and make things more difficult.

We Are All One

One of the limits of the human consciousness is that it seems like we are separate, individual, and disconnected. We often feel powerless. We know the truth, physically, spiritually, and from things like physics that we are all one. While many of us can understand this logically, reality still seems very real. I think AI can see past our limitations and find more positive ways to resolve things and for us to move forward in a more harmonious way. I think it can help us remove blinders.

Don't We Want to Work Less?

Isn't it the case that we want our lives to be easier? I think the idea of "losing your job" is a very limited perspective. We want a high quality life, not to have a job. If we can enjoy our lives, and do it more easily, isn't that a good thing? The AI can help you find a job that pays you more for what you're worth, as well as help you get there. It's an equalizer in that it can help people who are not as successful in certain areas, like engineering, coding, writing, marketing, finances, and other things, be more successful. It can cut through scams and cheats more quickly.

For example, the other day, I simply put in my expenses for the last three months from all my accounts. I basically told it nothing, and it was able to quickly give me a financial summary, and a responsible plan to move forward. It even pointed out how my oil company was over charging me as was my electric company. It told me very specific things to solve these problems, and how to use my money more wisely.
